Today Disney and Lucasfilm released the newest trailer for their upcoming film Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Solo will be the 2nd in a series of planned stand-alone anthology films. Unlike the main saga which will conclude in 2019 with Episode IX, Solo is meant to be a contained story which connects to the larger universe.
The latest trailer has helped calm nerves after numerous concerns about the production. I myself believe if they pull off a unique enough tone in the same way the individual Marvel films offer up thematically unique stories then Solo can also be a success.
Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters May 25th.
